Everyone needs a headshot at some point, whether it be for your LinkedIn profile or to put up in your grandparents’ living room.
On Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., we’ll be providing free headshots in DSU lobby to fulfill all your needs and self-contained narcissism. The headshots will be posted on Facebook for your viewing and sharing needs.
If you need any inspiration for your photo opportunity, here are some of my favorite trends in headshots from our last shoot.
1. Graduation stylin’
For the seniors who will be leaving us this December, this is the perfect opportunity to get your cap and gown on and prove to your parents that your degree is worth something.
2. The chin cup
This is a trend that I do not understand, but I love. As your friends and family wonder how you’re doing in college, show them one of these photos and make sure they appreciate your newfound nurturing nature and sense of care for your friends.
3. Family fun
Anyone knows that the best Christmas present for your parents is a photo of you and your siblings. It’s timeless and helps alleviate the symptoms of empty nest syndrome typical among parents of college-aged students.
4. Food for props
DSU is home to many different food options, so feel free to grab something from Chick-fil-A or Fresh Food Company and come back for some great photos of you and your true love: food.
5. Get silly
Just let go and do some crazy stuff. Wear a Christmas sweater, show us your booty or even bring your bike. It’s all up to you.
