Why does this outfit make you feel like your “best self”?

First off, I’m a sucker for a good pair of high-waisted denim jeans. When I find the right pair, that’s when I feel like my best self. Then my other style components consist of a T-shirt, cardigan and booties. I love the effortless vibe this type of ensemble gives off.

How would you describe your personal style?

Tomboy but with a feminine flare, but more often than not, I find myself looking like a hip mom who just dropped her kid off at a gluten-free, vegan, non-GMO playdate. I just love a good high-waisted black jean, white T-shirt, jean jacket outfit combo.

What’s your biggest piece of style advice?

Don’t try to be someone you’re not. When you feel comfortable in your clothes, you feel more at ease which will in turn show people your award-winning personality! Although, keep in mind that it’s fun to play with different styles and fashion, so live it up.

Why does this outfit make you feel like your “best self”?

This outfit makes me feel like my best self because it’s comfortable but cute at the same time.

How would you describe your personal style?

I would describe my style as ‘90s inspired with a modern twist. I like classic looks that are flattering and never really go out of style, but I also enjoy incorporating a few trendy pieces like the chunky sneaker.

What’s your biggest piece of style advice?

My biggest style advice would be to wear what makes you feel most confident. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different looks to see what you like the best even if they aren’t necessarily the trendiest things. Trends come and go, but style lasts forever.

Why does this outfit make you feel like your “best self”?

I love the outfit because it’s super comfy but also flattering. I feel like it shows off the best parts of myself but also hides the things I don’t want to show off. Also, it’s a great color and matches one of my favorite lipsticks.

How would you describe your personal style?

My personal style has been described as “dark and twisty” on many occasions. I wear a lot of black because I feel comfortable in it, and I’m actually terrible at matching colors. I’d say my style is simple most of the time.

What’s your biggest piece of style advice?

Keep it simple, and wear what YOU like, not what’s in or what others like.

I rose up from the dead, I do it all the time|| crappy things happen all the time, but sometimes they happen for a reason. The best part of growing up is learning how to turn the lows into your new highs. #talimewhen

Why does this outfit make you feel like your “best self”?

This outfit makes me feel like my best self because I love simple things with one bold statement. Denim and basic tees are always my favorite, but bright shoes are my go-to for turning things up a bit. These shoes in particular mean a lot to me because I got them when studying abroad, and good things always seem to happen when I wear them.

How would you describe your personal style?

I usually start with high-waisted dress pants or denim, and then go from there. Ninety percent of my wardrobe is from Goodwill and eBay, so I guess I accidentally put off a vintage-y vibe.

What’s your biggest piece of style advice?

My biggest piece of advice is super cheesy: Wear whatever you want. Until this past year, I would wear what my friends said. I finally pushed past their criticism of mom jeans and oversized jackets, and for once in my life, I really feel comfortable with myself and my style.
