Cage the Elephant performed a free concert before WKU’s first home football game against Maine on Sept. 8. Students and fans filled South Lawn for the performance by the Grammy-winning rock band. The Bowling Green natives hinted at a free performance last fall, and confirmed the performance through a Twitter conversation with President Tim Caboni before the start of the semester.
