Not canceled: WKU’s cherry blossoms

Tuesday, March 17, WKU announced that classes would be moved online for the rest of the semester. By the end of the week, campus stood nearly empty. Scattered students moved their belongings out of dorms. Inside, buildings were unusually quiet.

But amid the COVID-19 pandemic, one spring tradition at WKU went on. The cherry trees came into full bloom. The Talisman set out to capture their beauty and share it with everyone no longer on campus.
