Smooth as butter body cream

After making your skin smooth and polished in the shower, you’re ready to lock in the moisture with this body cream that uses organic raw shea butter. Shea butter has many skin benefits such as anti-aging properties and reducing the appearance of scars. Combining this with the essential oils of your choice makes this the best DIY moisturizer to firm and tone you from head to toe.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 Tbsps of raw organic shea butter
  • 1-2 drops frankincense oil for firming the skin
  • 1 Tbsp  coconut oil
  • 1-2 drops tea tree oil

Directions

  • Place the shea butter in a small heat-safe container then place that container inside a larger heat-safe bowl.
  • Pour boiling water into the larger bowl to surround the container of shea butter.
  • Using a spoon, mix the shea butter until melted.
  • Mix in the remaining ingredients.
  • Refrigerate the mixture for about an hour until it is firm but not hard.
  • After removing the mixture from the refrigerator, whip until it has a butter-like texture.
  • Store in a small jar.
  • A little goes a long way with this one, so make sure to rub it in well after you shower.

Uh-huh, honey face mask

We can’t neglect our faces this winter season. This face mask fights acne and exfoliates dead skin cells leaving nothing but glowing skin behind. Honey has amazing toning, moisturizing and anti-aging properties while green tea is great for oily skin and reducing redness. So sit back and sip some tea while this mask works magic on your skin.

Directions

  • Steep the green tea bag in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
  • Open the tea bag and remove the inside contents. Place them in a small bowl.
