After much anticipation, President Gary Ransdell has announced his successor to the WKU throne: Student Government Association President Jay Todd Richey.
“Yup, I’ll be the youngest president in WKU history,” Richey said with a grin. “It’s great news for my Instagram presence.”
The decision was hotly debated at first, according to a source on the presidential search committee. It wasn’t until Ransdell himself burst into a meeting shouting that Richey is the “one true heir” that the team reached a consensus.
“That kid is great,” Ransdell said. “I introduced him to the guys at the local Freemasons meetup. They loved that little suit of his. He’ll do fine.”
